In addition to the Bylaws, the governing documents of Amberson Towers also include Rules and Regulations established by Council under authority granted in the Bylaws. Unlike the Bylaws, which can only be changed with a vote of the owners, Council may adopt changes in the Rules and Regulations by majority vote.
In approximately September 2018, Council adopted a major revision to the Rules and Regulations.
On April 3, 2025, Council adopted a minor revision to the Rules and Regulations, adding a new rule to Article VIII, reading: "(Y) All Unit Owners and their occupants, guests, or invitees shall maintain their units in a sanitary condition. No conduct shall be permitted within a unit that results in offensive odors, unsanitary conditions, or other nuisances that interfere with the rights, health, safety, or comfort of other residents or that affect the common elements."
We have made additional updates to the Rules and Regulations through a series of board resolutions, which take precedence.
