Gym Reservations

Access to the gym is currently by reservation, and only residents who live in the same unit may exercise together at the same time. Use the button below to make a reservation. Reservations are for 45-minutes, with 30 minutes between reservations.

We have a HEPA filter to filter room air, a fan to exhaust room air to the outside (when the weather isn't too cold), and a UV-C lamp running to sterilize the air and surfaces as much as possible between uses.

We previously announced that vaccinated gym users did not need to wear masks, however that was prior to the emergence of the delta and omicron variants. All users of the gym must wear masks, and N95 masks are preferred.

In addition, on Monday, January 17, 2022, Council voted to limit use of the gym to fully vaccinated users, effective Wednesday, January 19. This is in keeping with the wishes of the majority of gym users, who overwhelmingly voted that they wanted all gym users to be vaccinated. See poll results below.

As of Wednesday, January 19, 2022, when you pick up the gym key you will be asked to show a vaccination card, showing that you are fully vaccinated. In accordance with CDC guidelines., this means having received either two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna mRNA vaccines, or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, followed by a booster of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.

If you have any questions about the vaccination policy, you can discuss it with the property manager, or email the Council.

Access to the gym is limited to current residents of the building. To ensure we can fairly accommodate all residents, please limit yourself to one 45-minute gym slot per unit per day.

If you won't be able to use your slot, please cancel by clicking on the link in the confirmation email you received when making your reservation. We will be keeping track of no shows.

If you haven't been able to get as many slots in the gym as you would like, you can add yourself to a call list for cancellations and no shows. by clicking on the button below.

Thanks for your patience and understanding as we try to balance keeping things as normal as possible while also keeping the building safe.
